Presently, graphite powder or a geld rived from graphite is the most commonly used material in the demoulding lubricant industry for the hot forging of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and aluminums extrusion. The use of graphite in these processes causes an unhealthy and unsafe working environment. The fine graphite dust floating in the plant atmosphere inhaled by the operators can cause bronchitis and pneumoconiosis. Also the graphite contaminated machinery and facility make an unpleasant working environment.
